The abdomin is blackish, the forewing length is just over 8 mm and I captured the insect in Sheffield South Yorks. UK

Thanks to Paul Beuk who helped with this ID, in answer to the questions he posed, the face is not shiny black (picture below), the small X-vein Sc-R near the base of the wing is entirely black, and the tip of the abdomen at the side looks most like H. humulinus (picture below).
